Since 2004, Foldedsheet has developed, designed and produced innovative and bespoke publications that visually ‘map’ information, and provide a unique visual overview. In the digital age our range of paper based planning tools and mappazines offer an alternative medium for presenting and documenting data, knowledge, thoughts, ideas, facts, figures and stories.

COMMISSIONS

We work with the art, culture and education sectors to produce publications that inspire, facilitate and document projects. Commissions include a research map for the launch of the RHUL Centre for the GeoHumanities, an artist’s exhibition catalogue for The Photographers’ Gallery, LearnHigher academic year planners, Drawing sheets for Big Draw events, and education materials for national charity Kids in Museums.

CURRENT PUBLICATIONS

Our range of writing / drawing / planning and storyboard sheets are used to create personal information maps. The sheets become a storehouse of thoughts, ideas, images, notes, memoirs, schemes, lists, experiences, sketches… and more. Our planners allow you to see a whole year at once, and they fold down into your bag to become a portable diary!

Editions and mappazines are editorial design projects on a large scale, loosely themed around journeys, travel and discovery. A collection of articles and essays are published alongside exquisite photography.
